04/17/2010 - 23:00

On April 17th, a Benefit Concert will be held at Headwaters School, located in the Ozark National Forest 50 miles East of Fayetteville off Highway 16 at Red Star, Arkansas. Eureka Springs' based Mountain Sprout has generously offered to headline the event, and local band Yellow Brick Road will also play. Shannon Wurst perform a solo set in the late afternoon. The event will start around 3 pm in the afternoon and end around 10 pm.

Please mark your calenders now and plan to attend, come rain or shine. All profits will go towards the conservation and protection of Ozark water resources (Ozark Water Protection Alliance and Newton County Wildlife Association).

Any individuals or groups interested in volunteering, or having a table, booth, or vending food / crafts, please contact me at this email or call me at 870-446-6126.

We are hoping for some wonderful donations from local artists such as hand made crafts, home canned goods, gift certificates for services, and maybe even some kids who have opened their creative doors would like to contribute.
All donations will be appreciated. If possible bring them early so more
people can bid but if not, bring them anyway. A few VERY SPECIAL LONELY
TREASURESs are welcome too. Questions? Donations? Call Karla at 870 715 9927

This will be a region wide community gathering to educate and celebrate life in the Ozarks. We are really looking forward to it, and hope to see everyone there.

5.00 suggested donation. Family friendly. Please bring snacks, drinking water, chairs, blankets, and appropriate clothing for spring weather in the mountains.
